Additionally, the size of the pipe will be based on the codes set by the location. If a house or business is being built or upgraded, the pipes must be up to code. That way the water travels as well and as easily as possible, and does not result in slow flushing or low pressure because of improperly sized pipes that either do not allow the water to flow freely or that do not create enough pressure to get the water where it needs to be efficiently.
